We started with a quick trip to the local berry farm and planned to pick as much as we could handle.... we maxed out at 103 lbs of Hood Strawberries!
Then it was on once we got home to get the berries cleaned and ready for jam, needless to say... many hours upon hours later and down at least 25 lbs of sugar and other pectin mix... we were the ultimate Jaminators and polished off our Saturday to do list with 100 pints of Strawberry freezer jam that will last us all next YEAR! This is just on of the benefits living with your mom... she teaches you ol' school and believes in slave labor! What a kickback to when I was young! Exhaustion has sent in now! I will have some seriously sweet dreams though!

Holy Cow, that's a lot of Jam. I'm jealous, but not jealous enough to carry out a feat like that.
